Memories from Kelley Wile
Well, I have a TON of memories of Humarock. I grew up on the Marshfield side, over by the Yacht Club.
My favorite thing was The Shack, riding my bike there to get french fries....the Thursday night teen dances at the SHCA....the dances over in the Parking Lot and the prizes for the dance contest. Oh, and definatley July 3rd for the bon fires.....getting yelled at by Mr., oh I can't say his name, for being on the beach at night and carrying on....LOL.....jumping off the little bridge and floating to the town pier to go home......riding my bike to stedmans for the latest issue of Tiger Beat....climbing the fence at the AFB to go shoot pool at their hall.....Christmas eve at the Humarock Lodge, Christmas eve for free food at the Bridgewaye, thanks Johnnie, I miss that sooooo much.....getting air for my tires at the Humarock Garage.....
I could go on forever, I know I HATED Labor Day weekend, but ALWAYS looked forward to Memorial Day weekend when all my friends would be down opening up the cottages.....
I definatly love the memories and the friendships made along the way
